Discover the magical taste of crispy Fish fry, a scrumptious fish recipe. The fish cubes are dipped in a batter comprising of maida, salt, baking powder, lime juice ,pepper, beaten egg and chilli powder. These batter coated fish cubes are then deep fried and served with onion rings and chilli sauce. Simply amazing!

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:
  1. 600 gms fish
  2. 1 1/2 carrots, chopped
  3. 1/4 chopped cabbage
  4. 2 tbsp chopped capsicum
  5. 3 tbsp lemon juice
  6. 1 1/2 cups plain flour (maida)
  7. 2 tbsp soy sauce
  8. 1 tsp mustard (rai / sarson) powder
  9. salt to taste
  10. black pepper (kalimirch) powder to taste
  11. 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  12. 5 eggs
  13. 1/2 tsp baking powder
  14. oil for frying

Method:

  1. Cut fish in cubes.
  2. Make a batter by mixing flour, baking powder, lemon juice, soya sauce, mustard powder, salt, pepper powder, eggs and chilly powder.
  3. Add chopped vegetables, fish cubes and toss well.
  4. Deep fry in oil, till golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serve hot with french fries.
